UEG Names Fumihara Managing Director Of Its New Tokyo Office

United Entertainment Group (UEG) is opening its first-ever offering in Asia with a new office in Tokyo as the city prepares to host the Rugby World Cup in 2019 and the Olympic Games in 2020.

Industry veteran Toru Fumihara will serve as managing director and leverage his past experience at Red Bull and Hakuhodo, Japan’s second-largest advertising agency.

Fumihara will report to Mary Scott, UEG's president of global integrated communications, who will oversee the operation and growth of the Asia offering.

Scott brings more than 25 years of global experience building businesses and guiding brands through global sponsorships and platforms including throughout 10 Olympic Games.

This new office marks the third international office that UEG has opened in the span of one year, including London and Germany.
