Press Gazette is leaping to the defence of press regulation rules at IPSO that require a newspaper to enter into arbitration with complainants. Fears have been expressed that the
cost of the scheme could bankrupt publishers but the site points out that most complainants do not require payment but would rather set the record straight. Arbitration could help build better trust,
it argues.
