SendGrid Inc. has appointed Carrie Palin as chief marketing officer.

Palin will be responsible for corporate and product marketing, demand generation, corporate communications and the firm’s community development team.

Previously, Palin was senior vice president and CMO of Box. Prior to that, she served as VP of marketing for IBM’s Cloud Data Services and Analytics Software division. In addition, she serves on the executive advisory board of Marketo.
