Argonaut Hires First CMO

Argonaut is promoting Katie Miller to serve as the agency's first chief marketing officer to help guide the shop's growth. Miller will oversee business development, PR, and overall reputation building for the agency.

Argonaut is at an inflection point in its trajectory, says Miller. "While we are still relatively young as an agency, the last six years have taught us a vast amount about ourselves, our agency, and our point of view on brand building," she says. "Now, as we look forward to our next chapter and as we craft the future vision for the agency, we know it’s going to be important to learn from the experiences of others and also to insert Argonaut in conversations where we know our point of view can make an impact."

She has been overseeing all client-agency relationships and agency growth since Argonaut opened its doors in 2013, which puts her in a unique position for this new role. In addition to constantly seeking out new client partnerships in her business development post, Miller has also recently begun to oversee the agency’s PR efforts.

Earlier in her career, she served at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners and Leo Burnett.

"When it comes down to it, our number one priority is to continue to attract the world’s best talent and the world’s most interesting brands (as well as the visionary people behind them)," says Robert Riccardi, CEO, Argonaut. "And the 'denotation' of our first-ever CMO as a leader in shaping our story is illustrative of our commitment to do just that."
