Management Shakeup At BBH NY

BBH NY CEO Anthony Romano and the agency are parting ways as Romano pursues an undisclosed new opportunity, according to the agency.

The office will now be overseen by Brett Edgar who has been promoted to managing director.

“As a creative-first agency, we have decided the best path for BBH NY moving forward is to implement a structure that is less layered and more agile in today’s highly-competitive environment,” stated Neil Munn, Global CEO of BBH, which is part of Publicis Groupe.

“We are grateful to Anthony for his leadership and contributions to the NY office. We wish him well in his future endeavors.”

In addition to assuming day-to-day management of the office, Edgar will continue to lead client relationships and work closely with chief creative officer Gerard Caputo and chairman Sarah Waton, who is also global chief strategy officer at the agency.

Prior to joining BBH NY last year Edgar was deputy head of account management at Droga5 where she led clients including CoverGirl, Pizza Hut and others.
