
Shane McAndrew is
joining Mindshare as the GroupM agency's new chief data strategy officer, replacing Rolf Olsen, who left in May 2018.
McAndrew is well-suited for his new role combining analytics with
communications planning. Most recently, he worked at Merkle as senior vice president, global product growth and earlier served as head of audience strategy & investment, and vice president,
strategy & planning.
Earlier in his career, he worked at Visual IQ and Moxie.

This appointment is the latest in
a string senior level hires at the agency that include chief client officer, chief instigation officer, and global client lead.
