BBC iPlayer needs to step up to the digital age, according to the corporation's Director General, Tony Hall.
The Guardian reveals that he believes the catch-up service needs an overhaul to
offer far more than just catch-up. It needs to feature a vast range of BBC content, including box sets, if it is to be a true rival to Netflix.
