Austin-based healthcare marketing firm HCB has restructured following the recent promotion of agency veteran Nancy Beesley to president.
The firm has established three operating units with
separate P&Ls: MedTech, BioPharma and Health & Wellness.
The MedTech unit, with a focus on medical device companies and other health technology clients will be led by managing director
Amy Dowell and creative director James Hamilton.
The BioPharma division, which will service the agency’s roster of pharmaceutical marketers, will be led by executive vice president
Francesco Lucarelli. HCB's Executive Creative Director Amy Hansen will work with Lucarelli to help guide and grow the unit.
Managing Director Kim Carpenter will lead the newly formed
Health & Wellness practice which will serve clients in large physician networks, hospital systems, health plans, behavioral health, and post-acute care centers. Leading creative for the unit
will be creative director Michele Evans.
“These business units deliver what our clients want and need—a custom approach to each brand, market, and challenge,” Beesley
stated.
The reorganization follows the appointment of Colin Foster as chief digital officer in January. The agency also has an office in Chicago.
