Duncan Channon has acquired A2G, a specialist in experiential, influencer and social marketing. Terms weren’t disclosed.
DC said the acquisition better positions it to offer “truly
integrated creative ideas” to reach consumers across paid, earned, shared and owned channels.
A2G Founder, President and Chief Creative Officer Amy Cotteleer joins DC as partner and
Chief Experience Officer. In her new role she will lead the creative development of social, influencer and live experiences.
The nearly 15-year-old A2G, based in Los Angeles, has worked for
brands like Gap, Nintendo and Citibank. The deal comes on the heels of record annual revenue and 15% growth in headcount for DC last year, according to the agency.
DC CEO Andy
Berkenfield said that the acquisition is “about our shared vision to help clients achieve their business goals in the evolving world of integrated marketing. The days of buying attention are
dead, and winning brands need to build relationships with consumers online and in real life.”
