Former Horizon Media vice president/communications Kaya Heitman has joined Daddi Brand Communications (DBC) in the newly created role of senior vice president to partner with president and founder Bill Daddi to drive the next chapter of the firm’s growth.

This represents a new direction for Heitman who has spent a decade and a half representing traditional advertising shops, first at Tribal DDB in her hometown of Sydney, Australia, before moving to New York to serve in a number of roles at DDB.

Most recently, she led communications for Horizon for more than five years. She left the agency in March.

DBC's client roster includes The Media Rating Council, The Advertising Research Foundation, The Coalition For Innovative Media Measurement, 3MS, Kantar, Cuebiq, Geopath, and Magid.

The NY-based firm provides brand platform creation, publicity, promotions, and content development, as well as senior advisory services and strategic partnership development.
