AWeber, provider of an email marketing/automation platform for small businesses, has appointed Rob Patterson as its chief marketing and growth officer.
Patterson’s mandate will be to drive greater awareness of the firm’s email automation tools among small business owners and entrepreneurs, while focusing on AWeber’s customer success stories.
Previously, Patterson led strategic marketing for the industrial internet of things and augmented reality groups at PTC.
He also has served as VP of corporate strategy and marketing at ColdLight, which was acquired by PTC in 2015.
Patterson states that he hopes to “disrupt larger competitors by continuing to offer more personalized, human touchpoints with small business owners and entrepreneurs.”
