Indiana Sues Equifax Over 2017 Data Breach

The state of Indiana has filed suit against Equifax over a 2017 cyber attack that affected almost 4 million Hoosiers among over 140 million other people. The lawsuit, filed by Attorney General Curtis Hill’s office on Monday, alleges that the credit bureau failed to protect the information of Indiana residents.
