Fox's Levy Named OpenAP CEO

David Levy has been named CEO, OpenAP, the TV network group's advanced advertising consortium.

A founding member of OpenAP, Levy is executive vice president, digital revenue, advanced ad products and operations at Fox Corp. for all of its brands: the Fox Broadcasting Network, Fox Sports, FX Networks and National Geographic.

He is the cofounder/Chief Operating Officer of true[X] media, which was bought by 21st Century Fox in 2015. Since September 2018, he had served as chairman of the OpenAP’s board.

OpenAP started in 2017, initially to reach unified custom audience segments for all TV publishers. Members include Fox, NBCUniversal, Viacom and Univision.

A joint statement from executives from members Fox, NBCUniversal and Viacom said the group is “doubling down on our commitment to the future of OpenAP.”
