SparkPost Unveils Predictive Analytics Platform To Help With Delivery

Email delivery provider SparkPost has debuted a predictive email intelligence platform focused on delivery.

The new platform, called SparkPostSignals, allows brands to achieve high email delivery based on predictive analytics and machine learning, the company claims.  

The goal is to “predict email sending problems and provide actionable recommendations before they impact your business,” states Rich Harris, CEO of SparkPost.

Email senders cab benchmark their performance against industry-specific aggregate data generated through the SparkPost platform.  

According to SparkPost, the new features include:

  • Health Score and Alerting — monitors email delivery health in comparison to other senders in the SparkPost Cloud and sends alerts when a problem is detected.
  • Engagement Insights — monitors engagement data, unsubscribes, spam trap hits, bounces and complaints to help marketers avoid sending to non-responsible individuals. 
  • Spam Trap Reporting — helps marketers avoid having their emails up in spam traps.
  • Integration with SparkPost’s Email Platforms — Signals is integrated with the SparkPost cloud email delivery service and Momentum and PowerMTA on-premises email software.



Harris argues that most email analytics products “sit outside the delivery process and don’t have access to ISP behavior and industry-wide sending data, two factors that are essential for finding delivery problems before they occur.”

Signals is now available through SparkPost Cloud, PowerMTA and Momentum, the company says.
