FCB NY Names New President

One week after FCB appointed Tyler Turnbull to the new role of CEO Canada and New York, the network is naming Emma Armstrong as president, New York.

Turnbull led the search for this New York president’s role, following the departure of Karyn Rockwell earlier this year.

Armstrong will join Chief Creative Officer Ari Halper and Chief Strategy Officer Todd Sussman to manage the office and its roster of clients, including LG, Canon and Burger King.

The UK-native joins the agency from iCrossing New York, where she served as managing director.

Earlier in her career, she was executive vice president/global account director at Grey Group, where she managed the global P&G Haircare account. Before that, she was EVP/worldwide senior director at BBDO, where she led the global FedEx, General Electric and Viagra accounts.

"We were searching for a leader who would continue to drive innovative, best-in-class and behavior-creating solutions for FCB and the brands we partner with, and help take the agency to the next level," says Turnbull. "Emma is this person.”
