Grey Group just snapped up leading creative luminary Javier Campopiano. He is joining the agency as Chief Creative Officer, Grey Europe & Global Clients.
The position is new, and Campopiano will oversee creative development for key clients, set and implement the agency’s creative vision and spearhead recruitment of creative talent.
The shop’s big clients include Gillette and Volvo.
In the post, Campopiano will work closely with Grey Group Europe President and CEO Eduardo Maruri.
He joins Grey from FCB Mexico, where he has served most recently as partner-Chief Creative Officer after more than four years at Saatchi & Saatchi.
Among his credits is the highly awarded "It's a Tide Ad" campaign, the gaggle of faux ads that took the 2018 Super Bowl by storm. Among other awards, the campaign won the Film Grand Prix, a Titanium Lion and the 2019 Grand Effie.
