Over the past year, Chorus has increased its staff to include more than 150 full-time employees. It expects to grow its staff by 50% by the year’s-end, while continuing to invest in the core platform.
In a blog post yesterday, Chorus shared it has promoted three of its staff to new vice president positions across its product, business development and design teams, including the newly created position of vice president, business development.

Mandy Brown, Chorus’s vice president, product, has worked with the platform for over five years, aiding the platform’s growth as it scaled Vox Media’s editorial networks. Brown will continue this effort in her new role as she leads the launch of new features intended to help publishers extend and customize Chorus.
Promoted to the position of Chorus’s first vice president of business development, Katrina Barlow will lead the division’s work in reaching new customers and guiding planning and product direction. Barlow was previously senior director of emerging business and partnerships at Vox Media.
Stepping into the position of vice president of product and revenue, Megan Walton will focus on expanding Vox Media’s advertising expertise and infrastructure for publishers through the Chorus platform.
Chorus, which was named “Best Digital News Start-Up” at the WAN-IFRA North American Digital Media Awards this year, now powers more than 350 sites, including the Chicago Sun-Times and Funny or Die.
