Q: Are there many women in modern agriculture?
A: This is one of those stereotype-busting reality checks that you might only uncover
by working as closely with farmers as we do. Over one-third of all farms in the U.S. are led by women, and most farms rely on women to manage core parts of the business.Last year, we turned this
stereotype on its head when we partnered with Maggie Rose on "She-I-O," featuring a few of our female farmer members.
Q: How is the brand going to celebrate its centennial this
year?
A: We're still in the planning stages, but it's safe to say that any celebration of Land O'Lakes is by definition a celebration of our
members. Given the diverse and incredibly interesting stories they've got to tell, expect that we'll be continuing our approach of looking inward.
