
Morris Media Network has expanded its WhereTraveler magazine brand to a weekly podcast.
Called “WhereTraveler
Podcast,” the series shares tips for tourists and locals, spotlights upcoming events and features interviews with a range of travel experts, from authors to national park rangers.
"Through this medium, we can now reach more tourists and locals alike and provide even deeper inside knowledge of a destination and intimate insight into the city’s hidden
treasures," Donna Kessler, president of Morris Media Network, told Publishers Daily.

The podcast is hosted by Teresa Rodriguez, editor-in-chief of WhereTraveler San
Francisco.
The podcast features James Beard Foundation award-winning chef Michelle Bernstein, who shares her favorite spots in San Francisco, and John A Martini, who discusses
the 150-year history of Alcatraz.
“Our goal is to offer listeners intimate insight into the lives and histories of some of the most interesting people and places on the
planet,” Kessler added.
Each episode will run around 30 minutes. The first episode debuted June 2.
Morris Media Network rebranded Where magazines in
the U.S. to WhereTravelerin April, with a new look and size. It was one of the first major changes to the publication since its founding in 1936.
The print publications give tourists local
travel information and recommendations, with over 50 editions that cover 25 markets in the U.S. and 28 markets overseas. The changes will roll out to the editions throughout the year.
The ad-supported, free magazine is available at hotels, airports and other popular tourist venues.
WhereTraveler's biggest markets are New York, Las Vegas, San
Francisco, Chicago, Miami, Orlando, Washington, D.C and Philadelphia.
