Dawn Expands With Definition 6

Dawn is expanding its portfolio two months after Bob Kantor, former Global CMO at MDC Partners, partnered with Crossmedia to introduce a new portfolio network in which independent agencies receive data science, measurement and media expertise.

The newest member, Definition 6 (D6), is an Atlanta- and New York City-based agency that leverages a multitude of technologies and a platform agnostic perspective to create omnichannel experiences, as well as specialize in email marketing and conversion rate optimization.

“Broadly speaking, we leverage performance data to develop critical insights that inform our strategies and tactical recommendations, all of which are designed to drive predicable and measured business results for our clients across all verticals and channels,” says Jason Rockman, President, D6.

As part of the network, D6 will join other Dawn agencies, including creative shop Pereira O'Dell, intelligence firm Main Street One, global implementation agency SDL, and consultancy Dirt to become part of a larger community that may leverage their respective capabilities for collaborative purposes.

D6's deal is consistent with the other agencies in the group. Participating agencies pay a fee, while Dawn retains a share in the agency's growth.

"Today’s marketers are seeking best-in-class partners to optimize business performance- leveraging digital technologies, including email marketing automation, web/commerce, social," explains Kantor of D6’s addition.

Although he declines to specify how the agency landed on his radar, Kantor says other agency partners actively identify other talented agencies that would complement the portfolio. He asks for their input on potential partners.

Dawn is continuing to scout potential agencies and plans to announce several additional agencies to the portfolio in the near future, including those focused on advertising, public relations, experiential marketing and commerce.
