'Yahoo Finance' To Air Programming On Verizon Fios

As part of its expanded business coverage, Yahoo Finance just launched a new 24-hour linear channel on Verizon Fios.

Verizon Media brands like Autoblog, Engadget and TechCrunchare also slated to launch shows on the channel in the future.

The channel features both daily programming, including Yahoo Finance’s eight hours of live bell-to-bell market coverage each weekday, regular series and live coverage of special financial events, including an exclusive broadcast of the annual Berkshire Hathaway shareholders meeting and Davos.

Daily bell-to-bell coverage includes shows “The First Trade,” “On the Move,” “YFI PM,” “The Ticker” and “The Final Round.”

Series set to air on the new channel include “Influencers with Andy Serwer,” featuring Yahoo Finance EIC Serwer talking with personalities from the business, politics, entertainment, sports and academic worlds. Yahoo Finance reporter Emily McCorkmick will host “Breakouts,” a show focused on startup leaders and stars from the business world, while Jen Rogers, also of Yahoo Finance, hosts “My Three Cents,” a show about personal finance.
