Newsweekis partnering with native advertising
and discovery platform MGID with plans to implement MGID’s content recommendation units throughout its digital properties.
MGID’s units will appear across Newsweek’s
digital platforms on desktop, tablet and mobile/AMP devices. Newsweek is exploring ways to reach its monetization, user engagement and new visitor acquisition goals.
MGID’s technology works through an algorithm that matches users-to-product through analysis of historic data from within a set network. As a result, visitors are fed relevant messages from
relevant campaigns. Smart widget technology is utilized to avoid frustration and deliver an all-in-one solution.
“We recognize the value of MGID’s technology aimed to provide our
readers with a highly targeted and engaging experience,” stated Alvaro Palacios, COO/CFO of Newsweek.

that will allow the publisher to manage and optimize traffic flow on its pages.
Michael Korsunsky, CEO at MGID NA, stated: “Our core value, as a company remains to be providing flexible,
technologically innovative revenue options, without infringing on publishers freedom to execute their brand’s vision.”
