Here’s some good news amid all the COVID gloom. Dentsu senior
executive Tim Andree is returning to work after a two month medical leave of absence.
He’ll be doing it in stages. Dentsu Group President and CEO Toshi Yamamoto confirmed the news in a
statement, noting that for now he’s resuming duties as a director on the Dentsu Group Board. Later he’ll resume his role as Executive Officer of Dentsu Group Inc.
Subsequently he will ease back into his role as Dentsu Aegis Network Chairman and CEO. For now, however Yamamoto will continue as DAN’s acting CEO.
“We are delighted that Tim is
able to start this phased return to work. We continue to support his full recovery and look forward to welcoming him back,” Yamamoto stated.
Andree's medical issues were not
COVID-related, the company said.
