Social agency Modify as appointed Oren Aks executive creative director. He’ll spearhead creative across the agency’s clients.

Aks is best known as the designer, social media and influencer marketing strategist behind the infamous Fyre Festival, a fraudulent “luxury” music festival in the Behamas in 2017. The festival’s top promoter Billy McFarland is now serving time in federal prison after being convicted on two counts of wire fraud.

Aks served as a whistleblower about the scheme for the Hulu documentary “Fyre Fraud.”

Previously Aks had his own agency, Jerry Media.
