WPP Taps McCann's Turnbull To Run Its Creative Operations

 

WPP today announced that Tyler Turnbull will join the company as CEO of WPP Creative in early 2027, succeeding Jon Cook.   

WPP announced last week that Cook, Global CEO of agency VML and CEO of WPP Creative, is leaving the company in March of 2027. Eric Campbell will succeed him at VML.

WPP Creative was formed earlier this year as part of holding company CEO Cindy Rose’s efforts to return the company to growth. WPP Creative includes VML, Ogilvy, Grey, Burson, AKQA, Landor and Design Bridge & Partners.   

Turnbull is joining from Omnicom’s McCann, where he is Global CEO. Before McCann, he spent 12 years at FCB, leading businesses in Canada, North America and globally.
