Raise, a mobile payments and prepaid gift card firm, has improved its performance through the customer lifecycle by adding personalization in partnership with Sailthru.
The new effort covers mobile, website and email, and emphasizes personalized overlays.
Raise sought to move beyond generic welcome emails and marketing campaigns that didn’t respond to different customer behaviors. It sought a vendor that could help with audience building, testing and supports.
One result of the Sailthru partnership is that dynamic messaging on the Raise home page contributes to 20% of new signups every month and is driving 15% of new buyers per month.
In addition, the Raise mobile app highlights brands that are relevant to members, resulting in click-through rates that are 10x higher and increased revenue, Sailthru reports.
Also, Raise tested “buy now save now” against “buy now save later” offers featuring a promotion code to be used for the third purchase. It saw 40% of members move from the first order to the second within 30 days, Sailthru adds.
