Health And Loan Content Sees Readership Surge In UK, Study Finds

UK readers are eager for content on health, hospitals, wellness and loans, according to the publishing platform Teads.

The company’s Media Barometer shows that content on those topics surged by 80% throughout March, WARC reports. But loan-related content has risen even higher, soaring by 91%.

In addition, content on marketing increased readership by 58% to 5.3 million views, it continues. And political material rose by 41%.

Overall, Teads has seen a 46% increase in traffic across its publishing platform, which serves such titles as The Guardian and The Telegraph.

“The data from our barometer should be reassuring to the advertising industry, highlighting its importance in the mind of the public and showcases the responsibility we have as an industry to do our bit during such times of crisis,” says Justin Taylor, managing director of Teads UK, according to WARC.
