'Bloomberg' Launches New Self-Serve Mobile Ad Tool

Bloomberg Media has added a new tool to its digital advertising suite Compass with Boost, a self-serve mobile advertising solution.

The new tool helps brands to amplify their social-media content — including LinkedIn posts — for distribution across Bloomberg’s editorial ecosystem. Through Boost, marketers are able to turn social-media assets into display ads, while tracking and improving performance, with no additional production, overhead or creative work.

Through an on-demand option included with Boost, marketers can release new phases of campaigns that have appeared on their proprietary channels across most social platforms.

Boost was built in partnership with Polar and DanAds, two global ad tech platforms.

“With the launch of Boost we are able to provide brands both big and small with new, innovative advertising solutions that reflect their needs in a rapidly evolving media landscape,” stated Spencer Sloe, global head of ad product and innovation at Bloomberg Media.

He added: "With just a few clicks, marketers can connect with our highly engaged audience.”

In addition to Boost, Compass offers partners access to the Ad.apt format, amplification tool TRIGR and collaboration offering Spotlight.
