Adland Luminaries Back Humble Design Auction Effort

CP+B Co-Founder Alex Bogusky, McCann Worldgroup’s Global Creative Chairman Rob Reilly, Facebook Global Creative Director Andrew Keller and David & Goliath Chairman and Founder David Angelo are just a few of the Adland luminaries lending their talents to support the non-profit Humble Design.

The “Pajama Potluck Auction” is putting up for bid virtual coffee chats and other offerings, with proceeds earmarked for shelters in cities across the nation. Bids start at $500.

People can submit bids through the end of May. Reilly provides the best quip, “Who the hell would want to have a virtual coffee with me?” Guess we’ll find out.

Humble Design’s CEO Rob Strasberg spent the majority of his career as a creative advertising executive, most recently as Doner's Global Creative Chairman and a decade at CP+B.  So, it is no surprise that his former industry colleagues and peers hopped on board to help with this effort.

“It is inspiring, in particular, to see my former colleagues in the advertising world make the time to assist, when clearly the state of the business is tumultuous,” says Strasberg. “It says a lot about everyone who is getting involved and is focused on the greater good.”

The online auction was set up by One Cause and includes experiences such as tutoring sessions, legal help, and painting lessons.

Founded in 2009, the organization transforms empty residences into inviting homes for the homeless and less fortunate.
