'NYT' Launches 'Unfinished Work' Virtual Series, Focuses On Women's Rights

As the 19th Amendment celebrates its 100th anniversary, The New York Times is launching a special virtual interactive event series dubbed “Unfinished Work.”

The five-part series, which launches with support from presenting sponsor MassMutual, spotlights the ongoing fight for women’s rights.

Part one of five kicks off today with a discussion called “The Road to Women’s Suffrage,” led by culture reporter Jennifer Schuessler, who will be in conversation with Valerie Jarret, board chair of When We All Vote and co-chair of The United States of Women; Martha S. Jones, Society of Black Alumni presidential professor and history professor at Johns Hopkins University; National Portrait Gallery historian Kate Clarke Lemay; and Susan Ware, honorary women’s suffrage centennial history at Radcliffe’s Schlesinger Library at Harvard University.
