Purpose-driven ad agency Oberland has named its first partners—strategy lead Davianne Harris and Creative Director Dhruv Nanda. As partners in the firm, founded by Bill Oberlander and Drew Train in 2014, the new partners receive equity stakes in the agency and expanded oversight.
Nanda was a copywriter for Chipotle Mexican Grill who joined Oberland in February of 2016. Harris is a JWT veteran who joined Oberland last May as vice president/head of strategy. She is credited with helping attract new business and generate strategic programs for marketers like Acessa Health and Uber.
“As a purpose-driven agency, we want our team to share in our growth and success and the first step in that process is creating a partnership pool,” said Train, the agency’s president. “Dhruv is the beating heart of the creative department and Davianne’s insights have helped define her department within the agency. We’re excited to position them both as partners as we navigate what’s next.”
Other clients at the New York-based agency includeThe Nature Conservancy, Blockchain.com, Autism Speaks, Happy Egg Co, and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
