miles traveled daily per American continues to trend upward, approach levels that preceded stay-at-home pandemic restrictions, according to the latest weekly installment of out-of-home media planning
data from Geopath and Intermx.
The average number of miles traveled daily was 13.4 for the week beginning May 11. While that's down 26% from the most recent high (18.0 miles daily for teh week
beginning March 2), it's up 38% since it bottomed out the week of April 6 (an average of 9.7 miles daily).
