A new opt-out service to help brands cope with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) is being offered by transcosmos America Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of the global firm transcosmos inc.
The CCPA-compatible service helps firms handle opt-out requests via three channels: email, phone call and web form, the firm says.
Transcosmos America will set up a center in Los Angeles that will also serve as its U.S.. base of operations.
The CCPA, which takes effect in July, imposes several rules for the handling of personal data on consumers. The likelihood is that similar laws will be passed in other states.
The company also offers e-commerce planning, site development and digital marketing services.
