Enveloperty LLC, a SaaS company specializing in email security, is offering a dynamic email service that allows single users to create and manage multiple email addresses.
The company says it has been issued a patent for the product.
The service enables individuals to give different email addresses to different web sites, business contacts and other correspondents, the firm says.
For instance, they can ask that the company CFO reach them at one email address, and the travel agency at another, it adds.
With dynamic email addressing, employees can be assigned their own subdomain, allowing them to create addresses within that subdomain, the company continues.
This can help them detect malicious messages that might slip past security systems, it says. Compromised email addresses can be abandoned.
