Metadata.io Snares $6.5 Million In Series A Funding

Metadata.io, a demand-generation startup, has raised $6.5m in Series A funding, bring its total financing to $10 million, the firm announced on Wednesday.

The oversubscribed round was led by Resolute Ventures, with participation from Greycroft, York IE, Stormbreakers, along with Mark Organ, founder of Eloqua; Ilya Volodarsky (founder of Segment) and over a dozen Metadata customers and key employees.

The company will use the funding to expand its product capabilities and meet increasing customer demand. In addition, it hopes to lead in its category.

Metadata automates key marketing tasks to help B2B companies scale their demand generation efforts, the firm says.

These marketers need to “place AI and automation, instead of humans, at the center of execution,” states Gil Allouche, founder & CEO of Metadata.
