Fox News President, Several Anchors Advised To Quarantine: Report

Fox News Media President Jay Wallace and several anchors were among those advised to quarantine after possible exposure to COVID-19, according to New York Times sources.

Wallace, chief political anchor Bret Baier; Martha MacCallum, anchor of Fox’s evening show “The Story”; and Dana Perino and Juan Williams, two hosts of “The Five,” were among those on a private plane, returning from Thursday’s presidential debate, with someone who later tested positive for the virus, according to the report, filed on Sunday.

Everyone on the chartered flight from Nashville to New York — a group of network executives, on-air personalities and staff — was advised to quarantine.

The affected anchors were expected to host their shows from home for the present.

A network spokesperson would not confirm any details of the exposure, citing the need for keeping private health information private.
