No doubt the super PAC’s barrage of anti-Trump ads helped persuade some voters to throw him out of office.
Now, the group is setting its sights on another important target for the Democrats — the Georgia runoff races for the U.S. Senate in January.
Both seats are held by Republicans and a flip to Democrats would give the party control of the Senate and Congress.
So far, the LP has launched a broadside on Georgia Sen.David Perdue that largely uses his opponent Jon Ossoff’s words to call out Perdue’s self-dealing and denial of a health crisis in the state as COVID-19 cases were spiking there and killing citizens.
