Active International, the barter agency that enables companies to use their assets to pay, in part, for a wide range of marketing services and media, is the latest member to join Dawn, a two-year-old portfolio network that supports independent agencies with data science, measurement and media expertise.
Active International has offices in 14 countries and $2 billion in annual billings.
“Active's exceptional ability to deliver business efficiencies and provide significant value for underperforming assets, including real estate and excess inventory is especially critical at this time during the Covid pandemic," said Dawn CEO Bob Kantor.
Active joins other member agencies, including creative shop Pereira O'Dell, intelligence firm Main Street One, in the Dawn network, which enables members to tap into their respective expertise and to collaborate on projects. Already the Active team is partnering with several Dawn agencies.
Kantor continues to add to his portfolio believing there is opportunity as agencies seek to better transform themselves post-pandemic. “Many brands find themselves at a crossroads during these very uncertain times with excess inventory, and yet the need to continue to market their brands and be strong as we enter the next phase,” he says.
