Campbell’s is revisiting the brand’s iconic Snowman spot that first aired in 1993 with the “Snowbuddy” campaign.
The creative, developed with Publicis Groupe, follows a little girl as she struggles to pull a snowman on a sled through the snow in the hopes of bringing joy to her friend. Her friend rewards her gesture with Campbell’s Chicken Noodle Soup.
The campaign is supported with an online pledge to SaveTheSnowDay.com encouraging people to honor this childhood tradition. Several school districts have already canceled snow days for the year.
The first 3,000 pledge signers received limited-edition snow day activity kits, which sold out in 24 hours.
