CuriosityStream Inc. has hired Brandon Fong as senior vice president, head of North American distribution.

Fong is charged with expanding the CuriosityStream "factual entertainment" brand and streaming service in North American markets across streaming media platforms, broadband service providers/MVPDs and wireless carriers.

Fong was most recently senior vice president of digital business development at STX Entertainment, responsible for distribution and monetization efforts and the launch of new STX-branded franchises on social networks, OTT platforms and MVPDs. Prior to STX, he served as vice president, video development at Time Inc.
