Comcast’s Xfinity Stream app is now available through Amazon Fire TV devices and Fire TV Edition smart TVs.

Up to now, the app had been available on Roku and LG and Samsung smart TVs.

Xfinity Stream offers personalized recommendations and curated collections of movies and shows, and lets Xfinity TV subscribers watch live, on demand and DVR programming over Comcast’s secure network.

Xfinity subscribers who download the Stream app on Fire TVs from the device’s apps section can launch the app with an Alexa voice command rather than using the Xfinity X1 Voice Remote.
