Publicis Groupe has promoted Tim Jones to Chief Operating Officer,
Publicis Groupe Marketing Services U.S. In the new role Jones will lead the creative, digital experience, media and health businesses to further accelerate inter-agency collaboration and growth for
clients.
Most recently the long-time Publicis Groupe executive served as CEO Publicis Media Americas. He is being succeeded in that role by Dave Penski, who has served as COO of the media
group, and Global Chairman of Publicis Media Exchange (PMX). He will continue to maintain oversight of PMX as he takes charge of the Americas media operation.
Jones is credited with
developing unique client models that helped the company land several business wins including Kraft Heinz, Hulu, TikTok, Sephora, retention of Reckitt Benkiser and the Samsung US business.
Jones is also a member of the leadership board that manages the holding company’s U.S. operations, known as U.S. ComEx, which is chaired by Publicis Groupe CEO Arthur Sadoun, and includes
about 10 other senior agency executives.

Q4,” stated Sadoun.
