Publicis Groupe is promoting Helen Lin to Chief Digital Officer
(CDO) to be responsible for driving integrated digital opportunities across the organization, while leading the holding company’s broader digital strategy, partnerships, investment and
negotiations.
She will represent Publicis Groupe across industry-leading initiatives to improve digital standards and overall brand safety on the largest consumer platforms. Lin will
report to Dave Penski, global chairman for PMX and CEO of Publicis Media U.S.
Lin previously served as CDO for Publicis Media for the past two years. She has helped to transform the
Groupe’s digital capabilities. She is credited with creating Publicis Media’s in-house consulting practice, advising clients on their programmatic, search and social
capabilities.
Lin was also instrumental to Publicis Groupe’s role in the launch of the World Federation of Advertisers’ Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM) and the
4A’s Advertiser Protection Bureau (APB), and continues to be a leading voice for agencies and clients as they navigate complex industry issues such as brand safety and suitability, data privacy,
ad fraud and more.

The 14-year Publicis Groupe veteran has also held leadership positions at Moxie and Zenith. She is also well-respected across the industry, receiving recognition as
a MediaPost Digital All-Star and helping guide the Groupe to land MediaPost’s Social Agency of the Year in 2019.
“Creating a sustainable
consumer value proposition requires brands to deliver powerful connections, add value and create loyalty throughout the customer journey,” said Lin. “I look forward to serving as a
connector between our organization, platforms, partners and the broader industry to super serve our clients with the best possible solutions.”
