Movers+Shakers Adds Creative Leader

Creative agency and TikTok marketing specialist Movers+Shakers is appointing agency veteran and brand consultant Anthony Reeves as senior vice president, creative, a move that marks an important expansion for the firm which has swiftly gained a reputation for its social media success.

The company has attracted more than 90 billion+ views on TikTok for clients such as Amazon, Warner Bros., and elf cosmetics.

As the shop continues to grow, Reeves will play a critical role in expanding Movers+Shakers’ creative works and revenue opportunities. His expertise will help steer the creative direction for the agency along with co-founders Evan Horowitz and Geoffrey Goldberg.

Previously Reeves was at Courage Brands and WPP, while earlier in his career he worked at Clemenger BBDO, George Patterson Y&R, and FCB and other companies.

At the beginning of the pandemic, Reeves started advising advertising and marketing people who were laid-off or out of work to rejoin the workforce. He did this by building their LinkedIn and social profiles, enhancing their portfolios and via practice interviews.

Through this endeavor he came across Movers+Shakers and started engaging with the two co-founders. For ten or so months, they stayed loosely in touch until Anthony asked, "What if?” and the two sides quickly came to an agreement to bring him on board.

“Anthony's track record of helping the world’s leading brands will be extremely valuable as Movers+Shakers' leadership role grows,” says Horowitz. “He has always been a leader in customer service, technology, platforms and creativity, and his background helps us launch the firm forward even faster.”
