Dish Media-owned vMVPD Sling TV has
partnered with the DraftKings Basketball Channel to launch a sports betting channel.
Sling subscribers and free users can now view real-time game scores and betting odds on the basketball
channel.
Sling said it also plans to launch DraftKings baseball and hockey channels “in the coming weeks.”
The new channel is “just the beginning of how we plan to
bring the DraftKings sports betting experience to Sling TV customers,” stated Sling TV President Michael Schwimmer.
The news follows an agreement inked in March that made
DraftKing’s sportsbook and daily fantasy experiences available across Dish’s portfolio of brands, starting with a DraftKings app integration on the Dish TV Hopper platform.
