Anneka Gupta Steps Down As President Of LiveRamp For a New Tech Leadership Role

Anneka Gupta, president and head of products and platforms at LiveRamp, will leave the data connectivity company on July 1 to pursue another senior leadership opportunity in the technology sector.

LiveRamp will replace Gupta by elevating two executive positions in the company: Chief Technology Officer and Chief Product Officer.

Mohsin Hussain will continue serving as LiveRamp’s CTO. The firm has launched a search to find a new Chief Product Officer, focusing on external candidates with enterprise software experience and a records of scaling innovative product organizations.

Gupta is given high marks for her work at the company.

LiveRamp’s stock fell 12% in heavy trading after the announcement of her departure, according to Seeking Alpha.

“As one of the earliest members of the LiveRamp team, Anneka has dedicated her entire professional career to growing our company from a 20-person start-up in San Francisco to a 1,200-person global team serving the world’s top brands, agencies and publishers,” says LiveRamp CEO Scott Howe.

Gupta, who joined LiveRamp in 2010, said: “It is humbling to have been part of such an incredible team and to have contributed to LiveRamp’s hyper-growth and position” as a leader in global data connectivity.

Gupta’s next destination had not been identified at deadline.
