
As part of a broader
initiative supporting the return of business across the food service and hospitality industry, WPP’s Wavemaker and Hill & Knowlton units are breaking a new advertising and influencer
campaign promoting patronage at Ecolab Science Certified establishments.
The #TakeBackYourSocialLife campaign, which breaks today on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube,
features Magic Johnson touting the safety benefits of shopping and/or eating at certified shops, including Porto’s Bakery.
Launched in the summer of 2020, Ecolab is a
science-based public health and food safety stamp-of-approval certifying businesses that achieve a higher level of cleanliness.
Wavemaker is leveraging addressable targeting to
activate different campaign messaging across digital and social channels aimed at sport fans, hotel vacationers and frequent restaurant-goers. The effort is supported by a Hill & Knowlton
influencer marketing campaign inviting “nano” and “mid-tier” influencers to “take back their social lives this summer at various locations across the country that have
earned” Ecolab’s seal.
