
Interpublic’s Deutsch New York has promoted Chief Strategy
Officer Matt Baker to President. He’s tasked with driving the agency’s growth plan and reports to Val DiFebo, CEO of Deutsch NY.
The President's role hasn’t been filled
since DiFebo left it 2009 after being appointed CEO.
In addition to developing growth initiatives, Baker will oversee the allocation of resources throughout the agency, refine processes
and best practices and optimize partnerships within the IPG network. As president will he will continue oversight of the agency's brand planning, data analytics, and social teams, responsibilities he
had as CSO.
Since joining Deutsch NY in 2018, Baker and his teams have crafted Lion-winning strategies for AB InBev’s Budweiser Global and Busch brands, and added clients including
Reebok, ClearChoice, Hain Celestial, and Cetaphil Global.
Prior to Deutsch Baker served at JWT, Anomaly, Arnold Worldwide, and RAPP where he crafted strategy for brands including Google,
P&G, 23&Me, Unilever and others.
