Lincoln Project Slams Fox News And Rupert Murdoch For 'Killing Americans'

The Lincoln Project sent me an email today that got right to the point exclaiming that that “Fox News is killing Americans.”

The missive was accompanied by the group’s latest ad which condemns the Murdoch owned network for continuing to “push anti-vax hysteria.”

The ad splices together footage of COVID-19 victims and hospitals overwhelmed with patients suffering from the disease with snippets of Fox New personalities like Tucker Carlson questioning the effectiveness of the vaccines and the governments “creepy’’ focus on trying to convince as many Americans as possible to get vaccinated.

“Almost all Americans dying from COVID are not vaccinated,” the ad’s narrator states. It goes on to note that Rupert Murdoch was vaccinated and then asks, “does anyone really think that Tucker Carlson isn’t vaccinated?”

The ad condemns Fox News’ continuous run of anti-vax commentary as both dangerous and immoral. “Fox News is helping kill Americans,” the ad asserts, urging people to call their local TV providers to demand that Fox News be dropped.

But as the LP noted in its email to me Fox News knows “what gets ratings and gins up the authoritarian movement they helped create.”

Sadly, that’s exactly why local TV operators are going leave Fox News in their lineups for the foreseeable future.

Do you have anything to back up that statement? And why the constant coverage of a PAC?

We thought the overt bias would finally be over once the elections were over, but you guys just keep carrying that water.

LP's ad is a lie slander & defaming Fox News which isn't right and Fox could sue LP claiming that there killing Americans which they are not and that could be proven if it ever went to court I know Fox News isn't going to do that thou. NBC wouldn't air the ad good for them for not airing the ad.

You have to be living under a rock to not see that Fox News has, indeed, been pushing the narrative that the vaccine is questionable. It is not. It works. Pretty much proven by the fact that 98% of those currently hospitalized are unvaccinated. Most people are stupid and can't think for themselves. Fox News knows this and prays on that stupidity all in the name of ratings.

Your living under the rock Steve Fox News hasn't been pushing a narrative that the vaccine is questionable they have been saying from day 1 to get the vaccine on the non-opinion shows and have health experts as well. Hannity even said last week to get the vaccine on his show and no I don't watch the prime time shows on Fox News. LP's ad is a lie which you clearly don't get Steve that can't think for themselves you can't back up the claims that Fox News killed thousands because of COVID which isn't true and is a flat-out lie. Also heard that those that haven't gotten the vaccine don't watch the news hardly at all and don't vote as well. Making claims that those that don't have the vaccine watch Fox News or are conservative is hardly true at all.

The sad thing is that virus has been politicized from day 1 I don't trust CDC since they have flipped & flopped so many times along with Dr. Fauci as well time to get a new voice on COVID Fauci can't be trusted with info on the virus. Vaccines are safe to take never believed in the disinformation or theories that the vaccines weren't safe I get why there are lots that don't want to take the vaccines like minorities who when they tested vaccines hundred years ago got ill and died from it which wasn't back then. So I understand why a lot of minorities are saying no to the vaccine. It's a personal choice if you want the vaccine or not and shouldn't be shamed or shun if they didn't get the vaccine.
