Air Purifier Brand Winix Taps 50,000feet To Boost U.S. Awareness

Chicago-based creative agency 50,000feet has been hired by air purifier brand Winix, headquartered in South Korea, to boost its awareness in the U.S. market. 

The brand’s U.S. base is in Vernon Hills, IL (outside of Chicago) and it gained traction last year in part via sales driven by the pandemic and California wildfires. 

50,000feet is tasked with developing a campaign to sustain and broaden that momentum. 

The agency has developed a video that anchors the campaign and introduces the brand’s new tagline “Let’s Breathe Together.” The video will be activated across programmatic display, programmatic video, paid social and connected TV including Hulu, YouTube TV and Sling TV, throughout the rest of the year. 

In addition to the video, the agency is creating photography for social media and digital applications to support the campaign. 

Kristen Leach, marketing communications manager, Winix, said, “Although Winix is a global brand with strong brand recognition throughout much of the world, we have only been in the US market for the past 15 years. 50,000feet have been engaged to boost our presence in this key territory.”
